Tested with a swith OLED. To set up: enable “Pro Controller Wired Commulication” in controller settings. System must be turned on to trigger a response, just like a pro controller, and works very well for what it is. The product feels good quality, and the sticks feel realy good in my hands, with no drift so far. I’ve been looking for a replacement that allows me to play handheld without my hands cramping up and this seems to fit the bill. Nintendo seems to only make products for child-sized hands, So this pruduct is perfect for me. The switch fits snug in the slide clips so it ain’t flying out with riggerous play.What it is:-A controller sleeve acting as plugged in switch pro controller-The layout is closer to traditional controllers so keep that in mind. It’s not offset like the joycons.-The buttons feel springy and responsive. Triggers giving multiple pressure points for precision. The sticks are bigger and more sensitive, making a satisfying mechanical ‘click’ when compressed.-The -/+ buttons are better situated; but, I accidentally tap Home and Share more than a few times.-has turbo and auto function buttons, for those that want them-the dynamic rumble feels better, deeper and not as loud.-The charge port makes it possible to play plugged in, but same problem as normal where it will pivot directly on the power cord.-It does add extra weight, so it causes fatigue with long sessions held up.-appears to be more efficient with battery.What this is not:-Their is no switch or operation system in this, only a controller sleeve.-cannot replace the joycons completely. Home button does NOT trigger system power. Still need them to turn on system or plug in cord to trigger response.-does not have amiibo reader-does not function like seperate joycons.All things considered this is an amazing product, but it’s flaws do miff me something fierce. I do prefer this compared to standard switch set up, so I will continue to enjoy it.

After so many reviews and some research I found a way to make it work.Turn it onStep 1: put your switch in the thing.Step 2: press “system settings “Step 3: scroll down to “controllers and sensors”Step 4: scroll till you see “pro controller wired communication”Step 5: press “off” it will turn “on”Step 6: enjoyIf switch turns off controller won’t work so hit power button back on And your goodIf I didn’t have to do so much research to figure it all out. I would have given it a all stars.

Just be aware this is not the same layout as the Switch Joycons or Pro controller. (They do offer a version that is high stick left, low stick right. Just be more observant than I was the first time I bought this product.)It is very comfortable to hold, and works a dream in terms of responsiveness. (Be sure to set your Switch to accept wired Pro controller input in the settings, otherwise you’ll get nothing. Seen too many reviews that missed this step.)It does make your handheld experience much closer to a Wii U tablet in terms of size and weight. Not a problem for me but it was heavier and wider than I was expecting.

Switch fits, but not snuggly. It does wiggle a little in this controller. The left and right joystick did throw me off too because they are set up differently than the switch in relation to the ABXY buttons. But overall, I like this product and purchase

I like this product for the handles, it did take some getting used to though. But the battery life of my switch sucks so much now. I have to charge it all the time, when I used to could go a few days between charges. Overall, it’s a good product but I’m not sure if I would buy it again. Although I do use it daily.

I don’t always write reviews, unless i feel like I’ve found a standout product. This controller is awesome and definitely has made me want to play my switch a lot more. Biggest downfall for me on the switch is the comfort with playing the joycons. Let’s face it the ergos on the joycons are pretty trash.This product is pretty great, i like the layout although it did take some time to get used to the non-offset joysticks; since i was using the joycons for a fair amount of time. But once you get used to it the product is pretty awesome. The buttons and sticks are more pleasurable to use and less fatiguing than the standard joycons. I have fairly large hands and the way the controller is shaped it feels great for me personally. Button locations are awesome and they feel good. Overall the controller is a must for me.The cons are minimal but still a few. Sucks that i have to keep mounting and unmounting the switch since the controller doesn’t have NFC to support amiibo usage. Good thing i don’t use them that much. The home button, doesn’t turn on the switch so you gotta go to the power button. Not too bad but it’s there. And i guess the biggest downfall would be that you can’t dock the product while it’s mounted on the controller. But i knew that coming in, since i wanted a one piece. Kinda sucks that the HORI split pad pro cases don’t work for this, but it does feel less wide to the split pad. If you’re looking for a case like i was, the nexigo joypad case works beautifully with this one piece.Overall the controller is a great product. I enjoy it a lot, and as a bonus i informed the company of a sale that was live a few days after i bought the product and they dealt with the price adjustment in a satisfactory manner which i wasn’t fully expecting. Also the company reached out the me a few days after purchase to ask how the controller was working for me. It’s a small thing, but a big gesture. Would be 5 stars if the cons were worked out.
